Smooth Drywall Services Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 10, 2026
At Smooth Drywall Services, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This privacy policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you interact with our services, including our Routemize booking form, DripJobs customer relationship management system, SMS communication through Twilio, and analytics and advertising technologies.
Information Collection and Use
When you request a service or appointment, Routemize provides the booking form and sends the request to DripJobs, our customer relationship management system. We collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, service address, messages, and other project-related details. We use this information to process your request, schedule appointments, prepare for and provide services, and communicate with you about your project.
We use Twilio to send SMS messages related to your service requests and appointments. By opting in to our SMS communication, you agree to receive text messages from Smooth Drywall Services for the following purposes:
- Appointment Confirmation: Upon submitting a service or appointment request.
- Appointment Scheduling Updates: For coordination and scheduling changes.
- Reminder Notifications: 24 hours and 1 hour before your scheduled appointment.
- Follow-Up Messages: Within 24-48 hours after job completion, requesting feedback and a review of our service.
These messages will only pertain to your requested services and will never be used for promotional purposes or shared or sold to third parties.
Analytics and Advertising Technologies
We use various technologies to analyze and improve our website and services, as well as to provide targeted advertising. These technologies include:
- Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to collect and analyze information about how visitors use our website. This helps us understand user behavior, improve our site's performance, and enhance our service offerings.
- Google Tag Manager: We utilize Google Tag Manager to manage and deploy marketing tags (snippets of code or tracking pixels) on our website without modifying the code.
- Google Ads: We use Google Ads to measure completed service requests, understand which ads contribute to those requests, improve campaign reporting, and optimize advertising. For Enhanced Conversions, the website normalizes and hashes available email addresses and phone numbers with SHA-256 before sending those hashed values to Google. Google may match the hashed values to signed-in Google accounts for conversion measurement. Hashed or pseudonymous data is not anonymous data.
- Vercel Analytics: We employ Vercel Analytics to gather insights about our website's performance, security, and visitor interactions. This helps us optimize our site and protect it from potential threats.
- PostHog: We use PostHog for website analytics, privacy-masked session replay, error tracking, and service-request attribution. PostHog may process pseudonymous identifiers, IP addresses and IP-derived approximate geography, device and browser information, page paths, interactions, session activity, and limited technical error information. After a trusted Routemize lead, we may also identify the PostHog person profile with an opaque, secret-key-derived identifier and store the normalized name, email address, phone number, and the first and latest Routemize request or confirmation identifiers on that profile. This helps us connect the earlier website journey to the request, measure performance, reconcile requests, improve the site, diagnose errors, and protect the service.
These technologies may process information such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, interactions, time spent on our website, advertising click identifiers, and pseudonymous request or confirmation identifiers. Analytics data may be pseudonymous and is not necessarily anonymous or aggregated when it is collected. We retain PostHog session replays for 30 days and PostHog event data for 12 months. We review direct-contact PostHog person profiles at least every 12 months and delete them when they are no longer needed for an active customer relationship, a verified request, security, or applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements.
We use IP addresses and IP-derived approximate geography for traffic analysis, security, and understanding the general areas we serve. We do not add raw IP addresses, precise coordinates, or Vercel geolocation headers to PostHog custom event or person properties. Names, email addresses, and phone numbers may appear only on the approved PostHog person profile; they remain excluded from PostHog event properties, replay, URLs, and general Google Tag Manager diagnostics. Trusted lifecycle events may contain bounded Routemize request and confirmation identifiers for exact reconciliation. Service addresses, ZIP codes, messages, and booking-form contents remain excluded from PostHog analytics events and person profiles. Routemize's cross-origin booking form is not recorded by our PostHog session replay.
Google Ads reporting data is retained according to Google's published retention policy, which currently makes hourly, daily, and weekly reporting data available for 37 months and monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting data available for 11 years. Google states that it generally cannot identify a specific user's Google Ads conversion data in response to a deletion request. We therefore cannot promise user-level deletion of a conversion after Google receives it, but we can stop applicable future collection, review our settings, and contact Google support when appropriate.
You can opt out of Google Analytics by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, manage advertising personalization through Google My Ad Center, and use browser privacy settings or content blockers that limit analytics and advertising requests. Blocking analytics does not prevent you from submitting a service request, and Routemize remains our operational source of truth. For more information, visit Google's Privacy & Terms site and PostHog's privacy information.
Opt-In Consent
To comply with Twilio's A2P messaging guidelines, we require express written consent to send SMS messages. You must opt in by providing clear consent during the service request process, which includes affirmatively selecting to receive SMS communications. We document this consent, including the date, time, and source, for compliance purposes.
By opting in, you acknowledge that you agree to receive service-related SMS messages. The content of the messages will strictly relate to service confirmations, scheduling updates, reminders, and follow-ups, without any promotional content.

To receive SMS messages from Smooth Drywall Services, you must opt in by providing consent. You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting "STOP" to the phone number provided. After sending the "STOP" message, we will send you a confirmation SMS to verify that you have been unsubscribed. You will no longer receive SMS messages from us after this confirmation.
Every SMS message sent will include opt-out instructions, allowing you to stop receiving messages at any time.
If you wish to opt in again, simply reply "START," and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.

You will receive messages at the following times:

Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Access to PostHog analytics and session replay is limited to approved administrators and service providers who need it to operate, secure, or improve the website.
Third-Party Service Providers
We use Routemize to provide our booking form and DripJobs to manage leads, appointments, and customer projects. We use Twilio to facilitate the service-related SMS communications described above. We also use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Vercel Analytics, and PostHog as described in the "Analytics and Advertising Technologies" section. These service providers process information on our behalf according to their respective privacy policies and our agreements with them. We do not sell your personal information or share it with these providers for their own unrelated use.
Access and Deletion Requests
You may contact us at nick@smoothdrywallservices.com to ask about, access, correct, or request deletion of personal information we maintain about you. We may reasonably verify the request through control of the email address or phone number associated with the profile. We will review and respond subject to applicable legal, security, recordkeeping, and service-delivery requirements. A trained operator handles verified PostHog requests manually with restricted administrative tools; there is no public analytics-deletion endpoint or self-service deletion system. As described above, Google generally cannot locate a specific Google Ads conversion for user-level deletion, so Google-related requests may be limited to prospective controls, published retention, and support escalation.
Compliance with Twilio's A2P Guidelines
Our SMS communication complies with Twilio's A2P (Application-to-Person) messaging guidelines. We obtain express written consent before sending SMS messages, and each message includes clear opt-out instructions and identifies Smooth Drywall Services as the sender. The content of our messages is strictly related to the services requested and does not contain any prohibited content.

We reserve the right to update or modify this privacy policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised policy on our website.
